The group captain cap is distinguished by the single row of gold braided oakleafs on the peak, often referred to as "scrambled egg". This cap is in good used condition, if appears to be either late 50s or early 60s. Unfortunately very hard to date otherwise. The cap has some light mothing to the material but no major damage. The interior shows a nice sweatband. Size wise it looks to be quite small around a 54-55 hat size. It is labelled underneath the sweat protector but I cannot quite make out the tailor name. Overall a good service used cap, ideal for display in a RAF collection display, museum display or for reinactor display. Open to all offers just drop me a message.
