GB QEII 2000. ERROR! DRAMATIC missing colour on Millenium 65p stamp. SG 2165

DRAMATIC missing colour on LEFT Millenium 65p stamp. It does not appear to have been used despite no gum. Maybe removed from the printing process before gum is applied? Nor is the reverse a different colour or showing any sign of interference.
