Antique 1.0ct Old Brilliant Cut Solitaire Diamond Platinum Engagement Ring c1915. Gorgeous platinum solitaire diamond ring. This hand crafted ring dates to the Edwardian / Art deco period. The splendid old brilliant cut diamond is. 6.6 mm across x 3.5 mm deep.

That's just circa 1.00 carat. The ornate platinum setting makes the diamond appear even larger. It is complemented beautifully by intricately decorated scroll peiced mount and shoulders. It is claw set in a raised platinum crown that shows it off to perfection. The diamond is clear, bright & sparkles beautifully.

The head is 8.5 mm wide & it stands 7.3 mm proud of the shank. This is a quality ring that. Weighs an impressive 3.5 grams. It is size P 1/2 (UK), 8 (US) it would very easily re size.

The shank is stamped Platinum (rather indistinct). This ring dates to the beginning of the 20th century. This antique ring is in excellent original condition - the shank is a little thin at the base.
