Post WW2 British SAS Special Air Service HSAT MK 2 Para Helmet Featured In Book

Here's a fantastic opportunity for someone to own a piece that would grace any collection! A British HSAT MK 2 that has been stripped back to bare metal, painted black and an SAS decal added.

The helmet is featured in British Airborne Headdress by Daniel Fisher & Oliver Lock - page 189 - " A paratrooper helmet worn by a member of the territorial SAS/RP for display purposes during the 60s and 70s ". In a honest and used state - chinstrap has snapped (not whilst in my possession) could easily be fixed. CWL liner, 7 1/2 and dated 1972.
