Post-ww2/1950s era RAF squadron leader officers service dress tunic. So this lot consists of a 1959 dated RAF tunic. The tunic is named to a squadron leader DH Young and has a lovely set of Queens crown pilots wings and lovely set of medal ribbons too indicating ww2 service. So ideal for further research.
The tunic has all buttons in place and complete with belt to. It is labelled and named to the airmen. Made by Austin Reed tailors.Size wise the tunic measures 20 inches across the chest so should fit a 40 inch chest. The top of the shoulder to cuff measures 24.5 inches. A nice tunic from a named airmen, with good potential for research.
