Manufactured by Alkit Ltd, Cambridge Circus, London - interwar period c1924. Condition: some wear marks, and the end folds have started to part due to loose stitching, but would be an easy repair for somebody.
Personally I believe the bicorne is in a very good state for its age. Epaulettes manufactured by Gieves Limited. Condition: some wear, marks and some small areas where the bullion is damaged, but nothing major. Tin has the name E. Forbes "RIN" and I can confirm that no research has been done on the gentleman.
The tin has seen better days. Condition: wear, marks, dents and the fabric has became loose on the inside. I would leave this as it stands, because it has a lot of character, although most of this could be easily repaired.
Great display pieces that have a lot of potential. Feedback says it all really. My descriptions are accurate as possible but please feel free to ask on anything not mentioned or for more pictures. I appreciate that cash can be a issue!
